BLACKPINK Lisa’s Thailand Tourism Promotion Sparks Controversy

BLACKPINK’s Lisa is facing backlash over her new Thailand tourism campaign.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand recently released a campaign called “Feel All the Feelings,” naming Lisa the international ambassador. It was supposed to be a big deal.
But soon after, fans and netizens started criticizing the photo quality. People said Lisa looked poorly blended into the backgrounds. The pictures have an over-smoothened look, sparking speculation that the visuals were heavily edited or created with AI instead of real on-site photos.
Thai music producer Nitipong Honark spoke out. He slammed the campaign’s quality, saying it was like turning “a previous gemstone worth hundreds of billions and presenting it as cheap junk.”
“The content’s quality was so bad, it was equivalent to taking a previous gemstone worth hundreds of billions and presenting it as cheap junk.”

Despite the firestorm over quality, the campaign did get global eyes on Thailand’s lesser-known spots.

The situation is still developing as fans debate the mix of digital edits and real scenery.
