SISTAR Soyou mourns father’s passing; family to hold private funeral
Soyou is in deep mourning following the sudden passing of her father.
An official from her agency, Mound Media, said:
Soyou’s father has passed away. In accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family, the wake and funeral proceedings will be held privately.
The agency added:
We kindly ask for your warm understanding so that the family can spend time together in quiet mourning, and we offer our deepest condolences to the deceased.
The funeral procession will take place at 5:30 AM on the 27th, with the final resting place located at Suwon Yeonhwajang.
Meanwhile, Soyou originally made her debut in 2010 as a member of the iconic girl group SISTAR, earning widespread love through massive hit tracks like “Loving U,” “Touch My Body,” and “Shake It,” before transitioning into a successful career as a solo artist following the group’s disbandment.
