J.Y. Park plans girl group with his own and Rain’s daughters
Singer J.Y. Park said he plans to make his daughters into a girl group alongside Ji Hoon (Rain)’s daughters.
Park Jin Young appeared on the MBC entertainment program Omniscient Interfering View on July 25th and shared moments from his daily life.
During breakfast his two daughters visited and he knelt to greet them.
Park Jin Young explained:
“I wish my whole body could touch them, but I have to kneel to have my whole body make contact”
He showed a soft side with simple questions to his children.
Park Jin Young asked:
“Did you sleep well?”
“Have you eaten?”
The manager commented on his home life.
The manager said:
“He’s a doting dad and a loving husband. He shows off photos and videos of his daughters.”
Footage of Park Jin Young dancing with his daughters was also shown.
Comedian Yang Se Hyung noted Park Jin Young’s devotion.
Yang Se Hyung said:
“He’s such a doting dad that he even made a song the day his daughter was born.”
Park Jin Young described the song he wrote when his daughter was born and his plans for another track.
Park Jin Young said:
“When she was born, I held her hand, and she held mine tightly and wouldn’t let go, so I wrote a song called ‘This Small Hand.'”
“I haven’t played it for them yet. I haven’t written the second song yet, but fortunately, I just finished it recently and will play it for them when it’s released”
When host Hong Hyun Hee asked if he was thinking of turning his daughters into a group, Park Jin Young confirmed it was on his mind.
Hong Hyun Hee asked:
“Are you thinking about making your daughters into a girl group?”
Park Jin Young replied:
“Of course. Ji Hoon (Rain) also has two daughters, and all four daughters are growing up well. Boom even asked if he could include his daughter.”
When Yang Se Hyung asked about the possibility of the girls choosing another company, Park Jin Young said he would respect their decision but highlighted his company’s care for artists.
Yang Se Hyung asked:
“What if they want to join a different company?”
Park Jin Young said:
“I have to respect their choice, but our company is especially attentive in a positive way to health and meals and manages them carefully”
Park Jin Young married a non-celebrity nine years his junior in September 2013. His first daughter was born in 2019 and his second daughter in 2020.
