B.D.U’s Kim Minseo accused of bringing girlfriend to official schedules
B.D.U’s Kim Minseo was accused of inviting his girlfriend to official schedules.
Before B.D.U formed, Minseo took part in Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survivor. The group was formed through the survival show, and Minseo won a spot on the debut team.
A netizen discovered that the woman alleged to be his girlfriend attended the final episode of the show and uploaded a congratulatory photo.
The alleged girlfriend wrote:
“Congrats on your debut. I’m proud of you”
The photo came from the live broadcast she is said to have attended as an audience member.
Further digging by the netizen turned up photos the woman posted of the pair on dates.
There is also a photo showing him asleep on her shoulder.
She frequently shared him on her Instagram stories.

…others argued the situation was understandable, noting Minseo was not widely known before the show.

Minseo first appeared to the public on the survival show The Origin – A, B, or What?, hosted by IST Entertainment. He trained under IST Entertainment from 2019 to 2022 and left the company after failing to debut. He took part in Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survivor in January 2024. B.D.U disbanded in March 2026.
