Jennie’s “Less than a Lover” tops iTunes top songs chart in 27 regions

Jennie‘s new single “Less than a Lover” reached #1 on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 27 countries and regions, OA Entertainment announced on July 25.

The track was released on July 24 at 1 PM. The 27 regional #1s include Brazil, the Philippines, and Indonesia. OA Entertainment said this is the highest number of regional #1s achieved by a K-pop solo song released this year.

In China, the single hit #1 on QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music, and Kugou Music. It also earned a Gold certification on QQ Music.

The music video immediately topped YouTube’s Music Video Trending Worldwide list. It also ranked #1 on video trending charts in South Korea and the United States.

On South Korea’s Melon HOT100 chart, “Less than a Lover” landed at #2. The song also charted high on Apple Music in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.

Jennie’s previous collaboration “Dracula” with Australian band Tame Impala held at #5 for a second consecutive week on the US Billboard Hot 100 as of July 25.

OA Entertainment noted these results come ahead of Jennie’s festival schedule. She is set to headline ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’ in Grant Park on August 1, then appear at ‘SUMMER SONIC 2026’ in Tokyo on August 14 and Osaka on August 16.
