Ko Ji Yong reunites with Lee Jai Jin after recovering from liver scare
Ko Ji Yong, a former member of the iconic idol group Sechskies, reunited with Lee Jai Jin after successfully regaining his health.
On July 24, Ko Ji Yong posted a photo to his personal social media account with a short caption.
Ko Ji Yong wrote:
A Friday reunion with Jai Jin hyung after a long time.
The photo shows Lee Jai Jin casually hanging out with Ko Ji Yong. Both men are seen smiling warmly and looking relaxed at the camera.
Ko Ji Yong originally debuted as a member of Sechskies in 1997. He later stepped away from the entertainment industry to pursue a career as a businessman. He married family medicine specialist Dr. Heo Yang Im in 2013 and welcomed their son, Seung Jae, the following year.
Starting in 2023, Ko Ji Yong sparked widespread public concern over a sudden, drastic weight loss. He previously appeared on KBS 2TV variety show ‘House Husband Season 2‘ and said he had been hospitalized two years prior due to dangerously high liver enzymes and overall declining liver function, explaining that his weight dropped to 63 kilograms at the time but that his health has significantly improved since then.
