Lisa from BLACKPINK Stars in New Netflix Series ‘Hitmakers’

Netflix is gearing up to drop a new musical docuseries titled Hitmakers on July 24, 2025. The six-episode show will take viewers inside the high-pressure world of songwriting camps, where some of the music industry’s top producers and writers come together to craft new hits for major artists. Fans got their first glimpse through a teaser clip that quickly spread online, notably catching attention for featuring BLACKPINK’s Lisa.

The series gathers 12 of the music scene’s most influential songwriters and producers as they collaborate in elite songwriting camps. These creative hubs are where they develop original tracks for huge names like John Legend, Shaboozey, and Lisa herself.

Though Lisa’s screen time in the trailer was short, her presence left a strong impression. Fans and viewers were drawn to her "image and charm" right away, despite the brief glimpse. This appearance is especially significant following her acting debut earlier this year as Mook on the third season of HBO’s The White Lotus, which premiered in February 2025, marking a promising new chapter in her career.

Netflix’s official description gives some insight into what audiences can expect from Hitmakers:

"A front-row seat to witness the creative chaos, emotional challenges, and personal achievements that occur during the songwriting process," as participants aim to produce hits for some of today’s top stars.

The docuseries promises an inside look at the intense, fast-paced environment where the music starts, focusing on both the tough moments and triumphs of these creative professionals.
