Virtual K-Pop Band PLAVE Achieves Million-Selling Album with “Caligo Pt.1”

Virtual K-pop boy band Plave has made history by becoming the first virtual idol group to achieve million-seller status with their third EP, Caligo Pt.1. The album sold 1,038,308 copies in its first week, according to data from Hanteo Chart released by their agency, Vlast.

The EP, released last Monday, features five tracks, including the main single Dash. The song quickly climbed to the top of Melon’s Top 100 chart on its release day and garnered over 11 million streams within the first 24 hours. This marks a significant milestone for virtual idols in the K-pop industry, showcasing their growing influence and commercial success.

Caligo Pt.1 is Plave‘s first album in five months, following their previous releases that have steadily built their fanbase. The group, known for their unique blend of virtual avatars and real-time performances, continues to push boundaries in the evolving landscape of K-pop.
