The duo Hoshi X Woozi is the second SEVENTEEN sub-unit to release music this year. Earlier in January, the sub-unit BSS (comprising Hoshi, DK, and Seungkwan) came back with their single album Teleparty, which received critical acclaim, including a five-star review from NME.

The announcement follows SEVENTEEN’s final performances for their 17 Is Right Here world tour, which concluded with two shows in Bangkok on February 15 and 16. The group has been actively engaging with fans through new music and collaborations, including the preview of Bad Influence, a track produced by Pharrell Williams for the Louis Vuitton FW 2025 show in Paris.

Further details about Beam, including its title track and tracklist, will be revealed in the coming weeks. This sub-unit debut highlights SEVENTEEN’s ongoing efforts to explore diverse musical directions while maintaining their signature group dynamics.
