BLACKPINK Collaborates With Leading U.S. Sports Teams for Exclusive Merch Collection

BLACKPINK is bringing their signature style to the sports world with a special limited-edition merchandise collection that fuses K-pop with North American sports culture. The collaboration, called the BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA league collection, was announced by YG Entertainment on July 13 (KST). It’s a joint effort involving Complex, Fanatics, Mitchell & Ness, and several major local sports franchises.

This collection ties into BLACKPINK’s ongoing DEADLINE world tour and features exclusive gear designed alongside the official merchandise teams of local sports teams from the tour cities. Fans can find jerseys, hoodies, T-shirts, and caps that mix each team’s branding with BLACKPINK’s distinct aesthetic, making it a cool crossover between music and sports.

The sports teams involved are some of the biggest names in Major League Baseball (MLB) and the National Basketball Association (NBA), including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, New York Knicks, and New York Mets. This lineup gives fans a variety of iconic franchises to choose from.

Sales for the collection kicked off online on July 8 (local time) and quickly gained attention from fans worldwide. To offer a more personal experience, BLACKPINK will be setting up exclusive pop-up stores in key U.S. cities—starting with Los Angeles on July 11 and then New York on July 25. Both pop-ups will run for three days, giving fans a chance to get limited-edition items in person.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE world tour is in full swing. The group started off with two sold-out shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on July 5 and 6 (KST). The tour will take them through 31 shows in 16 different cities around the world, including major stops like Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
