July Rankings of Male K-Pop Idol Brand Values: Jimin, Jin, G-Dragon, and Others

Following his return to civilian life on June 11, Jimin from BTS has climbed back to the top spot in the individual male K-Pop idol brand value rankings. The Korea Brand Reputation Index reported that Jimin scored a total of 5,349,496 brand points for July, securing his place at #1 for the second month in a row.

Between June 19 and July 19 KST, the Korea Brand Reputation Index analyzed data from 755 actively promoting male idols to determine these rankings. They looked closely at factors like consumer engagement, media coverage, communication, and community activities to come up with the scores.

Right behind Jimin, BTS’s Jin held onto 2nd place in July with 4,791,370 points. Meanwhile, G-Dragon from Big Bang maintained his 3rd place position, matching last month’s result by earning 4,275,862 points.

Looking at the full list of the top 30 male idols for July, BTS members appear frequently, with Jungkook, V, SUGA, J-Hope, and RM rounding out much of the lineup. Other notable names include ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, Kang Daniel, GOT7’s Jinyoung, TVXQ’s Yunho, Park Ji Hoon, RIIZE’s Wonbin, EXO’s Baekhyun, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Hwang Min Hyun, SHINee’s Minho and Taemin, ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Hanbin, TXT’s Yeonjun and Soobin, ATEEZ’s San, The Boyz’s Sunwoo and Juyeon, Big Bang’s Taeyang, Seventeen’s Hoshi and Mingyu, and Highlight’s Doojoon.

This wide mix shows how diverse and competitive the male K-Pop idol scene really is right now, with veterans and newer idols all making a strong impression on fans and media alike.
