Well-Known Celebrity Seen Making Obscene Gesture Toward Fans On Video

ITZY’s Chaeryeong is facing controversy after accidentally flipping off fans in a recent video.

The incident happened in a “cheering guide” video for their “Rock & Roll” comeback, posted on ITZY’s official Japan YouTube channel. Fans quickly noticed Chaeryeong flashing both middle fingers at the camera.

Soon after, she realized the mistake and panicked on camera.

Chaeryeong then apologized through Bubble, the fan messaging app, explaining she didn’t mean to do it and why the video wasn’t re-shot.

“Oh, the cheer guide video went up… It happened before I could even realize what I was doing… We worked on the video as we were wrapping up our schedule and we were going to go home after. So I couldn’t ask that we go again for me. I felt bad and didn’t want to be an inconvenience… which is the reason it’s included in the video. But I’m so sorry, MIDZYs… I always pay attention to how I speak so I’m not cursing or using bad words. I mean, I’ve been doing that since I was in 5th grade! So, I’m really sorry. And thank you for thinking it’s cute…”

She added her heartfelt wishes for fans:
