BTS Jungkook’s Trending Comments on NJZ (NewJeans) Spark Interest After Recent Events
BTS Jungkook is back in the spotlight amid NewJeans’ drama.
The controversy began when Jungkook’s posts from his dog Bam’s Instagram account in September 2024 resurfaced. He wrote, “Artists are not guilty,” with hearts in NewJeans members’ colors. Then he posted, “Don’t use them.”
No direct mention of NewJeans, but BIGHIT MUSIC quickly clarified his intent.

The timing is key. On November 13, ADOR said they’re “coordinating individual meeting schedules” with Minji, Danielle, and Hanni after Hyein and Haerin returned. Min Hee Jin also voiced support for NewJeans’ full group comeback.

Reactions are mixed. Some praised Jungkook for speaking out:
“At the very least, someone who can say something like that is cool. Even now it’s the truth. And he did get dragged by both sides back then anyway.”
Others weren’t so sure:
“I don’t think any Jungkook fan would want posts like this though.”
And some recalled the backlash right after the posts:
“I remember people attacking him saying HYBE was media-playing after that agency statement. Looking back, it was just the truth lmao.”
One user added insight on the confusion about who Jungkook was calling out:
“Back then everyone assumed ‘Don’t use them’ was aimed at HYBE… I said if you want to make a point, at least clarify the subject and the target… Now I’m seeing a bunch of people saying it was targeting Min Hee Jin. Wow, funny.”
Replies explained further:

The drama continues as the court recently ruled NewJeans’ contract with ADOR remains valid. Fans are now split between blaming Bang Si Hyuk and HYBE or turning against Min Hee Jin.
