G-Dragon is back in the spotlight ahead of the 2025 MAMA Awards in Hong Kong.

The annual K-Pop awards, set for November 28-29 at Kai Tak Stadium, promises huge moments. G-Dragon won last year’s brand-new category, Music Visionary of the Year, and vowed not to miss this year’s ceremony.

The event spans two days: Chapter 1 focuses on fan-voted winners and genre awards; Chapter 2 highlights top musical achievements.

This year marks the first mega stadium MAMA event in Hong Kong after 7 years, at the massive Kai Tak Stadium. The lineups are stacked.

Day 1 artists: ALPHA DRIVE ONE, BABYMONSTER, BOYNEXTDOOR, BUMSUP, ENHYPEN, Hearts2Hearts, i-dle, IVE, MEOVV, MIRROR, NCT Wish, Super Junior, TREASURE, TWS, Yeonjun.

Day 2 artists: aespa, ALLDAY PROJECT, CORTIS, G-Dragon, IDID, izna, JO1, Kickflip, Kyoka, RIIZE, Stray Kids, TXT, Wing, ZEROBASEONE.

Fans are hyped for special stages and collabs that could shake the K-Pop realm. Every show will be live worldwide in 4K on Mnet Plus.

The event’s theme “UH-HEUNG” celebrates diversity and authentic self-expression. The opening of Chapter 1 features BUMSUP’s performance from World of Street Woman Fighter with hosts including Park Bo Gum and artists BOYNEXTDOOR, CORTIS, and TREASURE reworking the traditional “Kwaejina Ching Ching” to spotlight “K-Hip.”

Chapter 2 opens with host Kim Hye Soo and Stray Kids’ Felix delivering a message performance, followed by ZEROBASEONE’s Hanbin and dancer Kyoka—also from World of Street Woman Fighter—leading an exclusive theme stage.

Legendary actors Yang Zi Qing and Chow Yun Fat will attend, adding star power from outside K-Pop. The event promises cross-genre, cross-generation energy from 2025’s biggest names.
