Controversial Actor Reportedly Making Big Screen Comeback Sparks Intense Backlash

Yoo Ah In is facing controversy over his upcoming comeback film Vampire with director Jang Jae Hyun.

The news broke December 17, when an insider told Sports Chosun that Yoo Ah In would return to the big screen in Jang’s new project. The director said the film script would take two years to write and the movie would release four years later. Filming is set to start in the second half of next year.

This marks Yoo Ah In’s first acting return in about three years. He was on trial from September 2020 to March 2022 for propofol use and illegal prescription of sleeping pills.
