EXO D.O.’s Genuine Emotions About Comeback Absence Of CBX Ignite Strong Reactions

EXO is facing major controversy amid ongoing legal troubles with the subunit CBX and SM Entertainment.

The group recently restarted activities with only six members instead of the original nine. The three CBX members have been excluded from the fan meeting and new album because of unresolved legal disputes.

EXO’s D.O. recently spoke out about the incomplete comeback in a media interview related to his K-Drama The Manipulated.

“We’re preparing very diligently. First of all, I’m sorry that this isn’t a full-group comeback. We all feel the same way. Of course, everyone thinks of EXO as complete only when all the members are together, so I believe the timing just didn’t work out this time. We’re doing this album as it is now, but if possible, I think we’ll be able to show you a full-group comeback with the next album.”

D.O.’s comments stirred up strong reactions on social media. Many fans were relieved that he openly addressed the issue and expressed hope for a full OT9 comeback in the future.

Other fans pushed back hard, saying D.O. shouldn’t be answering questions about the legal issues. Some claimed the interview was fake.

Ugh, I’m so sick of this… Is it really that hard to just leave our kid alone?

The CBX legal battle continues with no clear resolution. Meanwhile, EXO fans remain divided on the group’s future. Many hold on to hope for a full-group reunion, but the drama around this comeback has left the fandom shaking.
