Is “Amazing Saturday” Facing Cancellation? Variety Show in Trouble Over Controversy Involving “Injection Auntie”

Park Na Rae, SHINee’s Key, and YouTuber Short Mouth Sun are caught up in the “injection auntie” scandal and have all quit the variety show Amazing Saturday.

The controversy began with Park Na Rae. Soon after, Key and Short Mouth Sun also left the show. All three original cast members from the first episode walked away within just ten days.

After Short Mouth Sun’s departure on the 19th, Amazing Saturday’s production team told OSEN:

“We respect Short Mouth Sun’s decision to suspend activities and will not have her participate in any future recordings.”

There’s no replacement cast member yet.

“There is currently no replacement. We will inform you if there are any changes,” the team said.

They also confirmed that three weeks of episodes are already pre-recorded.

“We have already completed recordings for three weeks of broadcasts. The production team will do their best in post-production.”

Even with eight members still on the show, the sudden exits sparked concerns about Amazing Saturday’s future.

The investigation into Park Na Rae’s “injection auntie” case is now in full swing. There’s worry another figure might come forward, meaning more turmoil in the broadcasting scene.
