Actor Gong Myung Hospitalized, K-Drama Production Suspended
Gong Myung is on pause after sudden hearing loss.
The actor was hospitalized on December 30 for sudden sensorineural hearing loss. He experienced a sharp drop in hearing and dizziness, forcing an immediate stop to filming tvN’s Secret Audit that day.
Sudden sensorineural hearing loss hits fast with no clear cause and usually comes with vertigo. Gong Myung reported dizziness before stopping work.
His agency, Saram Entertainment, confirmed he is getting treatment and recovering. They expect him back on set within the week.

“Gong Myung is receiving treatment and recovering. He is expected to return to the filming set during the week.”
Secret Audit stars Gong Myung as Noh Ki Joon, a skilled auditor tackling internal scandals. Co-star Shin Hye Sun plays Joo In Ah, the audit department head with a secret past.
Filming began in September with plans to air in the first half of 2026 as a weekend drama.
