KBS2’s weekend drama Our Golden Days is facing heavy backlash over a recent controversial storyline.
The show, which recently aired its 50th episode, centers on family across generations. But fans quickly turned sour after episode 45.
The controversy began when the male lead develops an incurable disease. His younger brother calls their father for help. The father, while rushing across a street to catch a taxi, is hit by a car. The father ends up donating his organ to save the male lead — meaning the son survives but the father dies.
