BTS Fan’s Funny Mistake About Yoongi Sparks Viral Reaction

BTS is facing a funny but confusing controversy after an ARMY mistook Suga’s absence during the BE album promotions for something much worse.

Back in late 2020 and early 2021, Suga was out recovering from shoulder surgery. BTS used photos of him and even a hologram to make sure he was included in performances, like at the 2020 MAMA Awards.

The controversy began when a 2026 tweet by an ARMY went viral, showing confusion about Suga’s status, thinking he had passed away because of the hologram and photo presence.

Soon after, other fans shared similar funny misunderstandings about BTS members being dead or the group disbanding.

Thankfully, Suga is alive and well. BTS is set to release a new album featuring all seven members this year.
