K-Pop Star and Actor Pair Reveal Expecting Baby

Keumjo from 9MUSES just announced she’s pregnant!

On February 14, 2026 (KST), Keumjo revealed her pregnancy on Instagram with a simple caption: “Pregnancy reveal.”

She shared that she’s 12 weeks and 1 day along, and the baby boy’s nickname is “Parangi,” which means “Papa’s love.” This name honors her late father.

Keumjo opened up about her journey to pregnancy, saying she and her husband Baek Ki Beom, married since 2022, started trying in April. It wasn’t easy.

Keumjo:
“I developed a habit of texting my dad, even though I knew there was no way he could reply.
We started trying in April, but our baby didn’t come easily. We’re both perfectly healthy, so we kept wondering why. Just as I was beginning to feel a little exhausted, I asked my dad for the first time: ‘Dad, aren’t you sorry for leaving me behind and going alone? Then please send me a baby.’
And on December 17, my birthday, I found out I was pregnant, like a gift, with those two lines.
So we gave our baby the nickname “Parang,” meaning “Papa’s love.”
It’s also been my favorite color for a long time. And I’ve always hoped my first child would be a son who resembles Seongjae oppa—so maybe that wish added a little extra touch?
