TWICE Jeongyeon’s Weight Criticized by Front Row Concert Fan, Causing Backlash

TWICE is facing backlash after a fan brought offensive signs targeting Jeongyeon at their New York concert.

The controversy began on February 21 during their This Is For world tour stop at Belmont Park.

Jeongyeon has long dealt with weight-related comments, which fans say worsened after an injury forced her onto steroids. Despite that, she recently received praise for her visuals.

Soon after the show, videos and photos of a fan holding signs calling Jeongyeon “Fatty Jeongyeon” spread online.

Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) demanding JYP Entertainment and concert staff take action. Many criticized staff for not confronting the person during the event.
