Lisa’s Omission From BLACKPINK’s Latest Release Ignites Backlash

BLACKPINK is facing controversy over Lisa’s absence in a special album rollout.

The group launched a unique collaboration with the National Museum of Korea and Spotify on February 26, KST. It included voice commentary tracks for eight Korean historical artifacts, recorded by the members.

Fans quickly noticed something off — Lisa’s voice commentaries weren’t released along with the others. The Korean and English versions dropped right away, but Lisa’s English and Thai narrations were missing.

Her tracks are expected to come out in March. But fans are furious about the delay and suspect it’s racially motivated.
