Belift Lab Receives Criticism Over Alleged Direction of Enhypen Heeseung’s Exit

Heeseung is facing backlash after officially leaving ENHYPEN to focus on his solo career.

BELIFT LAB confirmed Heeseung’s departure, saying the group will continue as six members. Heeseung decided to go solo after much discussion with the company.

Heeseung posted a handwritten letter to fans explaining his choice. He promised never to forget his time with ENHYPEN and to show a better side of himself as a solo artist.

In the letter, Heeseung said he made his decision based on the “direction suggested by the company.”

While sharing the work I’ve created with the company, I spent a long time discussing with many people about the best way to present it. After thinking deeply for a long time, I made a big decision to follow the direction suggested by the company so that I can approach ENGENE with a better side of myself.

Fans aren’t buying the company’s explanation. They’re confused why Heeseung can’t promote both solo and with ENHYPEN. Many suspect the company pushed him out.
