When the hourglass shape was mentioned as the most popular, Taeyong said he’d want to be “anything but the pear shape.” The stylist clarified that the pear shape is for curvy body types, and Johnny added it referred to “pear not stomach.” Taeyong then joked it was not like Patrick Star from Spongebob Squarepants.

Soon after, a clip of this moment was reposted online, sparking claims that Taeyong’s comment was body shaming and misogynistic.
