BLACKPINK Songwriter Hints at Members’ Role in Her Severe Mistreatment

Bekuh Boom is speaking out again with serious accusations linked to her time working with BLACKPINK’s label.
The American singer-songwriter, who co-wrote BLACKPINK’s biggest hits like “Boombayah,” “Whistle,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “Kill This Love,” and “Pretty Savage,” has expanded on previous claims about mistreatment.
The controversy began when Bekuh Boom accused a label believed to be YG Entertainment of exploiting her since she was 18. She said they promised a record deal that took years to materialize, verbally abused her, and even pressured her to have an abortion.
Soon after, she shared a new video detailing her experience during the production of BLACKPINK’s “Typa Girl.” Bekuh Boom revealed that disrespect toward her peaked while working on the track. She said someone in the room claimed they worked with her because she “accepted less.” She also mentioned that a collaborator she trusted helped calm the situation.
Bekuh Boom added that Lisa’s solo track “Money” was released without her knowledge and that the money split was never in her favor.
“None of ‘them’ wanted to help or acknowledge me. They were all in on it,” Bekuh Boom responded to a comment suggesting she could work directly with Lisa now.
She also liked a comment implying BLACKPINK members should have defended her, hinting they were complicit in the alleged abuse.
Fans quickly reacted, showing support for Bekuh Boom and discussing BLACKPINK’s recent releases that excluded her involvement.
