LE SSERAFIM’s New Album Under Fire for Multiple Plagiarism Accusations

LE SSERAFIM is facing backlash over their new album PUREFLOW amid plagiarism accusations.
The controversy began when fans noticed two B-side tracks sounding suspiciously similar to other artists’ songs. “Trust Exercise” is being compared to Benson Boone’s “Mystical Magical.” Some fans say the resemblance is too close to ignore.
oh le plagiarism..

However, others pushed back, pointing out both songs sample Olivia Newton-John’s classic “Physical,” which could explain the similarities. It might be a case of both songs drawing from the same source, not outright copying.
The second track under fire is “Sonder.” Fans are comparing it to Madison Beer’s 2018 song “Dear Society.” This sparked more debate, with some saying the likeness is only surface-level, while others insist it’s too strong to be a coincidence.

Soon after the album’s release, PUREFLOW’s title track “BOOMPALA” also faced mixed reactions and online mockery over its chart performance. Now, the B-sides are adding fuel to the fire.
The noise around PUREFLOW is growing louder, and not in the way Source Music likely wanted.
