ADOR Updates Lawsuit Against Former NewJeans Member Danielle

Danielle faces a major update in ADOR’s lawsuit against her and former CEO Min Hee Jin.

The controversy began when ADOR revised its damages claim in the ongoing lawsuit involving former NewJeans member Danielle and ex-CEO Min Hee Jin. According to a June 4 report by MyDaily, ADOR lowered the damages amount from ₩43.1 billion KRW (about $28.1 million USD) to ₩33.1 billion KRW (about $21.6 million USD).

This change came after ADOR appointed new legal counsel and reviewed the case. Last month, ADOR replaced its entire legal team—five attorneys from Kim & Chang—with four attorneys from the Leehan law firm. The next hearing is set for June 11, KST.

Fans quickly reacted to the sudden legal team switch and the reduced damages claim. Many see ADOR’s move as a stalling tactic and doubt the company has strong evidence against Danielle.

As the situation unfolded, fans expressed their frustration online:

this basically means they had nothing on her and were just trying to ruin her career

The lawsuit continues to draw attention as fans watch closely ahead of the June 11 hearing.
