Popular Attractive Actor Makes Unexpected Comeback After 17 Years Away From Acting

Cha Jun Hwan is making a shock comeback to acting after 17 years!

The 25-year-old figure skating star is cast as a lead in tvN’s new sitcom Palace Land. This will be his first acting role since childhood.

Fans mostly know him as one of South Korea’s top figure skaters. But before skating full-time, he was a child actor.

He appeared in the 2006 MBC special Miracle and played young Park Ki Woong in the 2008 drama When It’s At Night. He also got more attention as the young Jung Il Woo in The Return of Iljimae.

In Palace Land, Cha Jun Hwan plays Seong Dae Han, a good-looking amusement park worker who seems confident but is actually clumsy and immature underneath.

The sitcom focuses on amusement park employees sharing a dorm and dealing with work and friendship. It’s tvN’s first sitcom in over ten years.
