5th Gen K-Pop Group Promises To Become The Next BTS, BLACKPINK, And TWICE

RESCENE’s CEO Promised to Make Them the Next BTS, BLACKPINK, and TWICE
Rookie girl group RESCENE revealed the bold promises their agency CEO made before their debut.
RESCENE, which debuted in March 2024 under The Muze Entertainment with their first single album Re:Scene, consists of members Woni, Minami, Zena, May, and Liv. The group quickly caught attention with their unique concept inspired by scent and memories.
Though they didn’t explode right after debut, RESCENE recently hit #1 on Melon, gaining major popularity. Their live singing also went viral after an encore performance, drawing more eyes to the group.
Recently, Minami and Woni appeared on TEO’s variety show Salon Drip and shared their unusual casting story. Host Jang Do Yeon asked about the CEO personally recruiting them, and Minami confirmed it was true.
When asked what convinced her to join, Minami said she was “tricked” by the CEO’s words:
“I got tricked by what our CEO said. He told me, ‘I’ll make you the next BLACKPINK. I’ll make you the next TWICE. I’ll make you the next BTS.’”
Woni confirmed the statement was true.
Fans quickly reacted to the clip, impressed by the CEO’s confidence and the members’ honest responses. While aiming to be the next BTS, BLACKPINK, or TWICE is a huge goal, many were touched by the strong faith their CEO showed in RESCENE from the start.
