Actor Kim Seon Ho Issues Apology Over Solo Business Dispute

Kim Seon Ho is facing controversy over his one-man corporation and tax issues.
The controversy began when a media outlet reported that Kim Seon Ho operated a separate corporation from his agency. The report claimed the company was a paper company used to evade taxes.
Soon after, Fantagio, Kim Seon Ho’s agency, released an official statement on February 4 clarifying the situation and apologizing.
Fantagio explained Kim Seon Ho set up the corporation in January 2024 for his acting career and theatrical works. From then until February 2025, before his new contract with Fantagio, he received payments through this corporation.
Fantagio stated:
“Kim Seon Ho recognized that the one-person corporation could be misleading, so he ceased operations. For over a year, he has not engaged in any activities through the corporation.”
They added that since February 2025, Fantagio has paid him directly. The agency confirmed they have no connection to the corporation regarding contracts or activities.
“As a preemptive measure to rectify the mismanagement of his corporation at the time, he has returned all past corporate card records, family salaries, and corporate vehicles,” Fantagio said.
“He has completed payment of additional individual income tax in addition to the previously paid corporate tax. The corporation is currently in the process of closing.”
Kim Seon Ho allegedly used corporate funds improperly and has made full tax payments now.
Fantagio continued:
“Actor Kim Seon Ho deeply reflects on establishing and maintaining this corporation for over a year without a thorough understanding of its operations. We bow our heads in apology.”
“We also apologize for any confusion and concern this may have caused, and we will do our best to monitor the activities of our actors going forward. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, Kim Seon Ho was recently accused of “tax laundering” for receiving a settlement through the corporation.
