“Amazing Saturday” Faces Cast Change Amid “Injection Auntie” Dispute

Short Mouth Sun is quitting all activities amid the “injection auntie” controversy.

The controversy started with Park Na Rae and SHINee’s Key, both linked to an unlicensed doctor known as the “injection auntie.” Now, Short Mouth Sun is the latest to be pulled into the mess.

On April 19, the YouTuber posted a lengthy statement addressing the allegations on her official YouTube channel.

“I am reflecting on and sorting through the controversies and suspicions raised. If there are mistakes on my part, I will admit them without making excuses or avoiding responsibility.” — Short Mouth Sun

She said she met the person called Lee, believed to be a doctor, through an acquaintance at a Gangnam hospital. She trusted Lee was a legitimate physician and received medical treatments, sometimes even at home. She denied visiting Lee’s home.

“It was a serious oversight on my part not to be more careful and act more prudently regarding various circumstances, and I deeply regret this.”

Short Mouth Sun confirmed she will withdraw from Amazing Saturday and suspend her YouTube activities.

“I sincerely apologize to everyone who has loved and supported me despite my shortcomings, and I will approach this matter with a sincere attitude, doing my best. Once again, I apologize to all the many people who have cheered me on.”

Dispatch reported suspicion that Short Mouth Sun got illegal treatments like diet pills or intravenous fluids from A, the person previously involved with Park Na Rae and Key’s controversy.

There are also claims she helped pass psychotropic drugs from A to Park Na Rae’s manager, which worsens the situation.

Short Mouth Sun denied these specific allegations to Dispatch, saying:

“I did receive swelling medication from the hospital where A worked, but the diet pills and intravenous fluids are unrelated.”

The “injection auntie” saga continues to impact celebrities tied to Amazing Saturday as they drop out one by one.
