Another (G)I-DLE Member Becomes Target of Flawed Photoshop, Angering Fans

(G)I-DLE is facing backlash over heavily photoshopped selfies of member Miyeon posted on the group’s official social media.
The controversy began when fans noticed Miyeon’s selfies showing strange distortions—like her finger bent unnaturally and her face shape altered. This isn’t the first time. Member Shuhua previously called out their agency, CUBE Entertainment, for over-editing her photos.
Fans accuse CUBE of messing with photos on purpose. Many think the awkward edits look like trolling or anti-fan sabotage.
Photos on i-dle’s official account show these questionable touch-ups clearly. The finger pointing to Miyeon’s chin looks bent and distorted. Her face shape also appears digitally changed compared to her real appearance.

Fans took to forums and social media to express their frustration:
“This has got to be on purpose…”
“What’s the reason for botching the photos like this? Trolling with her face? This is an anti-fan terrorizing her.”
“Is the admin picking fights with the fans? The person behind the official account for my bias also does this, instigating sh*t with the fans.”
“Work of an anti-fan.”
“And they get paid for this quality of work??? This is insane, CUBE.”
“LMAO. What is wrong with them?”
“The unedited versions are so much better.”
“Did they just learn how to use Photoshop? These are f*cking horrible.”
“Why edit perfectly beautiful photos to look weird?”
“Just upload the originals, they’re fine…”
“Low key I think they’re f*cking up Miyeon’s selfies on purpose.”

The situation is heating up as fans demand clearer, less edited photos. They want CUBE Entertainment to stop the “botched” photoshop and let Miyeon’s natural beauty shine.
As the situation develops, no official comment has come from CUBE yet.
