ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo Faces Potential Loss of Major Fashion Deal Over Tax Scandal

Cha Eunwoo is facing more fallout from his tax evasion scandal.

Fashion brand Marithé François Girbaud has quietly removed all content featuring Eunwoo from their social media. This happened on January 26, KST. Until that afternoon, fans could still see posts and videos of Eunwoo modeling for the brand.

The brand had appointed Eunwoo as a model in May last year. Their campaign with him and actress Go Youn Jung had gained attention. But now, all those posts went private without any official explanation.

What’s more shocking? Marithé François Girbaud previously told media outlets they had no plans to remove Eunwoo content. But less than five hours after that statement, everything was hidden.

If true, Marithé François Girbaud would be the second brand to drop Eunwoo amid the controversy. The skincare brand Adiba already cut ties earlier.

Meanwhile, Fantagio, Eunwoo’s agency, has recently released a new statement about his case.
