Baekhyun Reveals Last Teaser for ‘Elevator’ MV Before New EP Launch
Baekhyun, member of EXO and a successful solo artist, is gearing up for his comeback with the release of the final teaser for his upcoming mini album. On May 17 (KST), his agency INB100 unveiled the music video teaser for the title track, ‘Elevator’, from his album ‘Essence of Reverie’.
The teaser begins with Baekhyun encountering someone in an elevator, leading into scenes of a photoshoot that showcase his artistic process. The video is enhanced with vibrant pop-art graphics and dynamic transitions, creating a visually captivating experience.
To build anticipation for the album, Baekhyun has released various promotional materials, including concept photos and short films. He performed the pre-release track ‘Chocolate’ for the first time on ‘Music Bank’ on May 16, and presented short previews of both ‘Chocolate’ and the B-side track, ‘Lemonade’, on ‘Show! Music Core’ the following day.
Set to debut on May 19 at 6 p.m. KST, ‘Essence of Reverie’ reflects on the interplay between reality and idealism, encapsulating Baekhyun’s artistic journey. This marks his return following his 2023 mini album ‘Hello, World’, as he seeks to redefine his musical identity. Baekhyun collaborated closely with Colde on the album, a duo known for their successful partnerships, generating significant excitement among fans.
‘Essence of Reverie’ will be available on all major digital platforms starting May 19 at 6 p.m. KST.
