Big Hit Music Requests Fans Avoid Army Base During RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s Discharge Dates

Big Hit Music has announced that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook from BTS will be completing their military service and soon returning to civilian life. The agency shared an official statement on June 7 KST, confirming the discharge dates for the four members.

RM and V both began their mandatory military service on December 11, 2023. RM joined the 15th Infantry Division of the Republic of Korea Army, while V enlisted with the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the ROK Military Police. Their service period will end on June 10 KST, marking their discharge day.

Following closely, Jimin and Jungkook started their duties on December 12, 2023. They are serving with the 5th Infantry Division of the ROK Army and will officially be discharged on June 11 KST.

While fans are eagerly anticipating their return, Big Hit Music has emphasized safety and respect regarding the discharge days. The agency cautioned that these days are reserved strictly for military personnel. No special public events will be held, and space at the discharge locations is extremely limited, which could create safety concerns if overcrowded.
