BLACKPINK Jisoo is facing backlash over her vocals in her new collab with Zayn.

The controversy began right after a snippet of their song EYES CLOSED dropped on October 8 (KST). Netizens slammed how Jisoo’s voice was barely audible, arguing that Zayn’s vocals were pushed way too forward, making it seem like her singing was overshadowed.

Many claimed the audio mix was done to hide Jisoo’s actual singing skills.
