BLACKPINK Lisa’s Latest Online Activity Receives Mixed Responses

BLACKPINK Lisa is facing backlash over her recent 2025 VMA win post. The controversy began after Lisa won “Best K-Pop” at the 2025 VMAs. Instead of addressing BLACKPINK fans “Blinks,” Lisa only spoke to her fans, “Lillies.” She wrote:
Lillies!!!! We won!!
I love you all
And also
Thank you @vmas
for this award!

Soon after, netizens reacted. Many felt her words were too focused on herself and her personal fanbase. They compared her to Rosé, who mentioned the group in her speech.
Some criticized Lisa for saying “We won!” while other BLACKPINK members were also nominated, feeling it was immature and divisive.
“All the members were nominated, and she says ‘we won’? That’s so immature. That’s not right — are her groupmates supposed to be her enemies?”
Others defended her, saying fans were overreacting and Lisa was just showing love to her supporters.
“Look at them trying to stir up division again. Seriously. The members say they’re like family, so why are these kids acting like sasaengs?”
“BLINKs themselves don’t care at all, so why are you blaming BLACKPINK just because your faves didn’t win???”
Some even called Lisa “no sense at all” and immature in how she handled her post.
