BLACKPINK Producer Establishes Independent Label, G(I)-DLE’s Soyeon Features on Debut Song

(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon joins forces with hitmaker R.Tee for new solo project

Soyeon is teaming up with producer R.Tee, known for BLACKPINK’s “Playing With Fire,” “Kill This Love,” and “How You Like That,” as well as BIGBANG’s “Fxxk It” and Jeon Somi’s “Fast Forward.”

R.Tee just launched his independent RSTS Label, and Soyeon will be featured on its debut release, the pop-house track “Damdadi.” The song reinterprets a 1980s original with funk grooves, hip-hop beats, and Soyeon’s signature rap style.

R.Tee said his goal was to keep the original’s playful vibe while connecting with today’s listeners.

The music video stars Soyeon in an office-themed concept with a fun twist. Both the song and video drop on August 10 at 6 PM KST.
