BLACKPINK’s Rosé is facing backlash over her latest concept photos for the group’s upcoming comeback.
The controversy began after YG Entertainment released the first set of member concept photos for BLACKPINK’s new mini album, DEADLINE. Fans immediately reacted to the two different versions of the shots, but Rosé’s photos stood out—for the wrong reasons.
Images of Rosé in both the “Statue” and “Red Light” concepts were shared. But fans and netizens slammed her styling and vibe as dull and boring compared to the other members.
Soon after, Twitter blew up with harsh comments calling Rosé the “most boring idol ever” and criticizing her for reusing the “same boring hair and makeup.” Several tweets directly called out her glam team:
