BLACKPINK’s Full Album Leaks Accidentally — Credits Feature Alleged Rapist

BLACKPINK is facing controversy over a major leak ahead of their upcoming album release.
The group’s new album, GO, set for February 27, reportedly leaked early. Hours after dropping the teaser for the title track “GO,” full track credits and musical tracks were accidentally posted on BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel.
The leak revealed that the members contributed to the lyrics of the title track.

Fans quickly caught on and pointed fingers at YG Entertainment’s promotion strategy, suspecting the leak was intentional.

What sparked even more backlash were the album credits for two tracks, “Me and my” and “Champion.” Both list the controversial producer Dr. Luke (Łukasz Gottwald) among album contributors.

Dr. Luke is a top U.S. music producer but has a highly problematic history after a 2014 lawsuit from singer Kesha accused him of drugging and sexual assault. Other stars like P!nk and Kelly Clarkson have spoken out about him.
