BTS ARMY Praised for Clean-Up Efforts After Gwanghwamun Concert

BTS’s Gwanghwamun concert ended smoothly, defying earlier concerns about crowd control. Fans were praised by Korean media for cleaning up the venue after the event.

After BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE: ARIRANG on the 21st, fans left the Gwanghwamun area in an orderly fashion, following area-specific guidance. Instead of a chaotic mass exit, fans dispersed calmly.

“Fans are exiting in an orderly manner, contrary to what the media and online community were concerned about. I’m glad it ended without any accidents. It’s a good example of how we managed safety in an outdoor mega event after the Itaewon disaster.”

One attendee shared this positive observation.

As fans moved toward the Yi Sun Shin statue, event guides waved warning lights and greeted attendees. A fan commented on the smooth exit:

“It feels like a nice way to wrap things up as they even said goodbye on the way out.”

Even after the concert, the atmosphere remained calm. Fans voluntarily picked up trash around the venue, keeping the performance areas clean.

“I think ARMY is the mirror of BTS,” said a fan who helped clean up. “I applied after seeing a post on X recruiting volunteers.”

Following the concert, BTS is set to head to the United States for a special performance in New York.
