BTS’ Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ Sets New Record as Longest-Charting Asian Solo Song on Billboard
BTS member Jungkook continues making history on the Billboard charts with his solo debut, “Seven,” achieving unprecedented milestones as the longest-charting Asian solo song.

According to the latest Billboard charts (dated March 15), “Seven,” released in July 2023, secured the 131st spot on the Global 200 chart. The track has now spent 85 weeks on the chart, marking the longest run for any Asian solo artist. Additionally, it ranked 77th on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart, where it has charted for 86 weeks—another record for an Asian solo act.

The song also made waves on the Philippines Hot 100 chart, landing at No. 73 and extending its record as the longest-charting K-pop solo song with 37 weeks. Meanwhile, Jungkook’s debut solo album, GOLDEN, entered the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart at No. 91, marking its 30th week on the chart—a record for a K-pop solo artist.
“Seven” previously dominated the charts, spending nine consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart and seven weeks atop the Global 200. It also became the first Asian artist song to top both charts for seven consecutive weeks simultaneously. On the Billboard Hot 100, the track debuted at No. 1 and remained on the chart for 15 weeks, solidifying Jungkook’s status as a global music powerhouse.
