BTS’s RM and V Mark Their Military Discharge with a Heartfelt Fan Event in Chuncheon
On June 10th, the day got pretty special for BTS fans as RM (Kim Namjoon) and V (Kim Taehyung) officially completed their mandatory military service. Both members reunited with fans during a warm discharge event held at the Sports Park in Sinbuk-eup, Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, early that morning KST.
RM and V served in quite different parts of the military. RM was assigned to the 15th Division’s military band, using his talents in a unique role, while V was part of the Special Task Force under the Army’s 2nd Corps Military Police. Despite their different placements, both fulfilled their duties with dedication.
Fans who gathered for the send-off made sure to show their love and support in a memorable way. They released a bunch of celebratory balloons, creating a colorful scene to honor RM and V’s return after their service. The atmosphere was full of warmth and excitement as everyone welcomed them back.
The event gave fans a chance to see their favorite idols again in person, sharing smiles and moments that marked this important chapter in RM and V’s lives. The significance of this day highlighted not only the members’ commitment but also the strong bond between BTS and their fans.
