Jan 29, 06:30Hello ARMY, this is Jimin.
Since I enlisted in December of the year before last, the year has already changed twice.
I’ve been serving in the military for about 1 year and 2 months now.Hmm… I really feel that time flows differently here compared to outside.
It’s not easy, but I am enduring it because there are things I feel, experience, and learn from this time. I’m looking forward to the day when I can have fun conversations with you all again about everything I’ve gone through. My daily life hasn’t changed much.
Since I’m in the military, my days pass by in a routine of training, working, exercising, and then night comes again—it’s a repetitive cycle. One thing that has changed is that with the passing of another year,
the conversations I have with myself have changed a lot.As the days when I can meet ARMY again get closer, I find myself thinking more about what we should prepare before we reunite, what kind of life we will live moving forward, and how we can show you our best selves. These are the kinds of conversations I’ve been having with myself.
The singer shared that his daily routine in the military revolves around training, work, and exercise, with the days passing quickly before it’s time to sleep. However, he noted that his conversations with fellow BTS member Jungkook, who enlisted alongside him, have become more frequent and meaningful as they approach their discharge date.
“It hasn’t been easy, but there are things I’m learning and feeling, and I’m looking forward to the day when I can have fun conversations with all of you about what’s happened during this time,” Jimin wrote.
Jimin and Jungkook have been discussing their plans for the future, including:
- Preparations for their highly-anticipated return
- The kind of performances they want to showcase
- The direction of their lives post-military service
Despite his excitement, Jimin admitted to feeling a bit of fear, acknowledging the time that has passed since BTS last performed together and fully dedicated themselves to the stage and music. However, he reassured fans that his determination to deliver the best possible performances for ARMY remains unchanged.
“I’ll do my best to return in a great state. To our beloved ARMY, who I miss and am so grateful for, until the day we meet, please stay healthy and have a day that brings you happiness,” Jimin concluded, expressing his love for the group’s dedicated fanbase.
Jimin and Jungkook are set to be discharged from the military in June, with BTS‘s full-group activities planned to resume in the second half of the year. Fans around the world are eagerly awaiting their return and the exciting new chapter in the group’s illustrious career.
