BTS’s Jin is garnering extensive acclaim from international media for his second mini album, “Echo.”
British music magazine NME praised him, stating, “If Jin weren’t a member of BTS, he might have made a name for himself as the lead vocalist in a band.” They noted that the album “further solidifies Jin’s standing as a vocalist,” highlighting his growth beyond the rock genre and his continuous musical exploration. They described “Echo” as “familiar yet fresh,” echoing the sentiments found in his previous release, The Astronaut.
Similarly, American magazine Rolling Stone pointed out his individuality within BTS, asserting, “Jin has always had his own distinct style and romantic sensibility,” and noted that “Echo” expands that romantic world. USA Today emphasized the depth of Jin’s artistry, stating he amplifies emotional depth and stage presence, with a clear love for rock evident throughout the album.

Jin is set to perform the title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” on NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show’ Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 22 (KST). Recently, he also charmed audiences on Netflix’s variety show ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B.
