BTS’s Jungkook and Jimin have successfully completed basic military training!

On January 17, a graduation ceremony was held at the 5th Infantry Division training center. During the ceremony, all recruits were officially promoted to the rank of “private” and given diplomas indicating successful completion of basic military training.

Information is spreading online that Jimin and Jungkook will remain in the 5th Infantry Division. Since they are serving under the “companion soldier” (동반입대) system, they will be transferred to the same unit. However, it is not yet known which unit they will be transferred to.

Jimin and Jungkook are expected to be discharged from the military on June 11, 2025.
