BTS’s V Sparks Unexpected Item to Sell Out Following Christmas Gift Reveal

BTS’s V just caused a frenzy with a quick live on Weverse Live.

On December 23, V went live for about three minutes. No big event, no announcement. He simply showed a piece of chocolate a taxi driver gave him as a surprise Christmas gift.

“I turned this on for a moment because I have something to show off. The taxi driver said, ‘It’s a surprise gift. A Christmas present — Turkish chocolate,’ and gave it to me. So I thanked him and accepted it. I came here to brag about it.”

That was it. Then the stream ended.

The chocolate was from the Turkey-based brand Tuvana. Right after V’s short broadcast, the chocolate sold out immediately.

The manufacturer, Tayas Gida, responded on social media:

“A small gift, a big smile. Today we witnessed a beautiful moment. Kim Taehyung sharing on livestream the chocolate he received from a taxi driver brought us great happiness and motivation.”

Turkey’s biggest daily, Hürriyet, covered the story in detail, saying:

“A marketing story was created in which all stock sold out in just 13 seconds. Kim Taehyung, who has 70 million followers, was touched by the Tuvana chocolate given by a taxi driver and went live, after which Korean distributors urgently ordered the equivalent of 25 containers of Tuvana chocolates.”

Within hours, Korean distributors snapped up all available stock. Seven distribution companies agreed—all inventory gone.

This tiny livestream sparked a massive sales boom. V’s name alone moves markets.

V continues proving he’s more than a star—he’s a global brand.
