Jin Ze has died at 33.

The Chinese actor and model passed away on June 4 at his home in Hangzhou, according to his agency’s June 5 statement. His birth name was Zhang Jiajie.

His management expressed deep sorrow and asked for privacy for his family.

Born in Weihai, Shandong in 1993, Jin Ze started as a fashion model. He graduated from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology before moving into acting.

He got noticed after appearing on the 2016 show I Can See Your Voice. Jin Ze acted in drama titles like Hello, Joann, Forget You, Remember Love, Legally Romance, Fake Princess, and Give You My Heart.

His sudden death shocked fans and co-stars. Many shared tributes online, remembering him not just for his roles but also for his kindness.
