Seventeen took to the stage on June 4 EST for an electrifying performance of their new title track, "Thunder," on The Kelly Clarkson Show. This appearance is part of the group’s ongoing celebrations for their 10th anniversary, coinciding with the release of their 5th full album, Happy Burstday, on May 26.
"Thunder" has proven to be a major hit, with the album achieving significant success right out of the gate. According to the Circle Chart, Happy Burstday was the top album for the week of May 25-31 across both the Retail Album Chart and the main Album Chart. Not only that, but "Thunder" also claimed the number one spot on the Digital Chart and the Downloads Chart for the same period.
Internationally, the album performed exceptionally well as well, making waves in Japan. It topped the Oricon chart for the week of May 26 to June 1, marking the 14th album from Seventeen to reach the summit of Japan’s main album chart. With this achievement, the group has officially secured their place as the most successful foreign artist in the history of Oricon’s main album chart.
